Heya!! Happy Monday! Today I finally had some quality time with Ben and we both decided to go and check out this new pop-up ice cream shop in Shoreditch: NANABAR. I found this place on Instagram about 2 weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier that finally someone decided to open a nice cream shop in London! Just on time for this super hot weather. If you are not vegan, you might haven’t heard about the term: “NICECREAM” well, it basically stands for ice cream but without the cruelty that dairy brings, that’s where the word “nice” comes from… and I guess it’s a way of calling a vegan ice cream differently, especially when it’s made of frozen bananas, like these guys you’ve just seen in the pictures. We actually had lunch there and I couldn’t even finish my serving! They have a flavour each day of the week and today we were lucky to try the “Strawberry Shortcake” one, with an extra shot of peanut butter 😛 (really recommend adding the PB) I could go on and on on the benefits and coolness of these kind of ice creams and this place, but I really think you should try it for yourself 🙂 (FUN FACT: this was the first nice cream I had in my life that I didn’t make myself!, crazy right?)
Ben and I can’t wait to be back! Oh! and hurry, because their pop up store will be open just for 3 months!
Good Afternoon guys!! boy… it’s been a few hectic months! Trying to get a degree whilst working part-time ain’t easy at all. Last month I finally finished my 1st year of Uni, turned 21 years old, celebrated like crazy and went travelling for 3 weeks. Yes, a lot of things for just a month, right? The truth is, I enjoyed every single minute of my beloved June this year… I don’t want to rant too much about my travels as I’m planning on posting exclusively about them in other posts 😉
So now that I’m back in London and free from Uni you might be wondering what the hell am I doing here and not back home in Tenerife? The answer is: I’m working on loads of things! Exciting projects and collabs coming! 😀
When I arrived from the airport the other day I got home and had no food in my kitchen but some muesli, jam and some new J.F Rabbit bottles waiting for me in the fridge 😛 The J.F Rabbit team were so lovely to send them to me a few weeks ago and of course, I had no time to try them, until now! 🙂
If you saw my earlier post about them on my blog, you’ll probably know how much I loved the idea of VEG infused waters. They now rebranded their packaging and drinks and sent me their new collection for me to re-review, if that makes sense? 🙂
The first thing that surprised me was that there was no Beetroot Water anymore! and they swapped it for this Carrot Water with Orange Blossom 😛 Another thing that they’ve improved is that now all of their waters contain your daily dose of Vitamin C and Zinc! so if you are worried that you aren’t getting enough of it or want to get some more benefits from your amazing drinking habit, one bottle will be good for the day!
So, my personal review tasting wise would be pretty similar to the one before but with a few changes.
The cucumber water tastes literally like if the bottle had cucumber slices inside. So fresh, and no celery after taste!
The ginger water tastes pretty much the same as the one before and I have to say: it’s my favourite!
The carrot water is in my opinion much nicer in taste than the beetroot water and rather than drink it straight, I’d like to try it on soups!
As I said in my previous review about this brand, I think this would be the perfect idea for those of you who find it hard to drink water because you might not like the taste of plain water or you just can’t catch the habit, maybe you find one of these you really love and you can stay hydrated at all times? 🙂
Thank you to J.F. Rabbit for sending these to me, I’m so happy I get to share these amazing finds through here and can hopefully inspire you to achieve a healthier lifestyle 🙂
Hey guys! I’m visiting my best friends in Scandinavia and I will be travelling for the next 2 weeks! These are some of the photos I’ve taken with my phone so far of the beautiful city of Stockholm. Such a chilled pretty place to visit!
Hello! If you actually had a look at what time I’ve posted this you’re probably wondering why the hell am I still awake at 2.30am blogging junk food on a weekday? Well… *story time*
The truth is I’m still up because I literally can’t sleep thanks to a horrible neck pain. This morning I woke up at 7am as usual, had a TREK bar, got my workout clothes on and went down to the gym. Everything was going great until after about 20min of doing my daily workout routine, I was doing sit ups when: “snap” a horrible sharp pain went through my column to my neck and left me paralized on the matt. I literally thought I broke my neck, the pain was (and is) horrific! I managed to very carefully pick up my things and go back to my studio and call my parents as I was pretty much unable to move and my neck hurted so freaking much. After talking to my parents and following their advice, I realized how stress has been piling up lately and I’ve been so tense that that’s probably what caused this. So I’ve been here, in my bed, all day long…
I couldn’t go to Uni and I couldn’t do all of the things I had to do outside including my weekly food haul…
So I thought as I didn’t have any food in my cupboard and even lifting a hand makes me ache, I got a takeaway! If you know me you know how much I love my healthy meals and if you know me really really well you probably know that I’ve never ordered a takeaway by myself. Yep, Alien here, I know.
The truth is, I love to make my own meals and eating out or getting a takeaway is something I’d call a “treat” and I always do it with someone else. But today, there was no choice.
So I headed to Deliveroo and opted to order Gourmet Burguer Kitchen. I figured out it would be a super easy order as they actually have a 100% vegan burger in their menu and I didn’t even have to worry on asking for special things. So I got the “Dippy Hippy” burger which consists of a pan-fried bean patty, beetroot & mint hummus, avocado, piquillo pepper, salad, relish and sourdough bun and I also ordered Skin-On fries as a side. As I’ve had this burger before and I looooved it, I opted to take out the mint hummus as in my opinion it doesn’t go very well with the burger.
And I mean, what else can I say? you know the rest…
One thing came to the other and me and my burger made out. Sometimes you gotta treat yourself, right? 😉
If you’re vegan, vegetarian or a meat-eater I strongly encourage you to try this burger, it’s seriously amazing!

PD: Also, if you have any tips/natural remedies on how to get rid of this horrible muscular pain, let me know in the comments below! I’d really appreciate it! 🙂
Hey guys! 😀 Long time no see! I had a few problems uploading images to my blog so I wasn’t able to post for a while… sorry :/
But! I’m back! And I have tons of photos from my trip to Portugal with Ben last month! 😀 so get ready for a Portugal Spam 😉
These pics are from one of my favourite days ever, we cycled for 3 hours and a half around Algarve’s Coast and we found some beautiful beaches. My favourite one? Praia Marinha.
Hola chic@s! 😀 Cuanto tiempo!
My favorita? Praia Marinha.
Morning! Bonjour! Buenos Días! 🙂 It’s nearly the weekend and I’m so ready for a day off Uni and work. Ever since I moved to London my diet has been changing slightly from RawTill4 to HCLF. If you don’t know about either of these terms, look it up on Google or ask in the comments below 🙂
The truth is, by not having access to cheap local organic produce and being always rushing and on the go made me adapt myself to a more flexible diet. Back in the Sixth Form days about 2 years ago, I used to get my Graze box delivered each week with 4 yummy snacks to have with me on the go. Since I’ve been vegan I kind of thought they wouldn’t have many vegan options and didn’t think of ordering with them anymore. Until now! I found out you can now select your dietary requirements and choose which type of box you’d like. So Ben and I decided to give it a go and I went for the variety box and Ben for the chocolate box, both made vegan of course.
They just got delivered! And I enjoyed my first snack this afternoon with a cup of green tea. I think this is a great idea if you are always travelling and don’t always have time to stop by a supermarket or your house every time you get hungry. You can choose how many times you want your box delivered (we chose once a week) and your can cancel or snooze your subscription anytime 🙂
So if you would like to give it a go, I have something for you! You can get your 1st,5th and 10th boxes for FREE using the code: NURIAM63B
And if after your 1st box you don’t want to order more, you can cancel it with no problem 🙂 If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments down below!
Buenos días! Bonjour! Good Morning!
Hey Guys! Welcome to another post! I know what you might be thinking… “two posts in the same week?” , “Am I crazy?” , “Did I quit Uni or my job?”… NO. But sometimes I do make an effort…
Today I had the opportunity to be part of London Fashion Week Festival as a photographer!
Not only I had so much fun, but it was such a cool and amazing experience!
So the first catwalk I attended to was the “TREND” show, which featured some of the biggest trends that will be part of the Spring/Summer 17 fashion collections. Featuring clothes from different amazing brands, here is a brief summary of some of the styles that you will find in stores this season. I hope this post inspires you!
Hola chic@s! Bienvenid@s a otro post! NO.
Which one is your favourite photo? // Cuál es tu foto favorita?
Hey guys! Welcome to another post! The last few days I started trying out this “Triple Skin Rescue Kit” by NUDE Skincare. I have to say I’m very picky when it comes to skincare as the only things I use are very natural (often homemade) and not many at all. But! For the last days, I’ve been trying this kit every night before I go to sleep and I have to say: I really like it!
The kit comes with 3 products:
– An omega cleansing jelly: which you use to remove any make up your skin may still retain
An omega rescue oil: which refines and defends against free radicals (check out what “free radicals mean: CLICKING HERE)
A detox frizzy powder: which you only use 3 times a week to brighten and smooth you skin
Of course you have to allow some time to notice clear effects. But only from using it a few times I already love the fresh feeling that I get after doing this and how soft my skin feels afterwards. Not to mention the beautiful smell that they have!
I like this brand because they don’t test on animals and most of their products are vegan! Also they use very natural ingredients like papaya extract, thyme or carrots.
So I recommend you to maybe give this ago if you’re looking for a natural and kind skincare treatment!
See ya later in another post!
PD: This post is NOT sponsored (I wish!). All of the opinions expressed here are my own.
Hola chic@s! Bienvenidos a otro post!
